BATTLE CREEK, Mich – Law enforcement officers from the Battle Creek Police Department, Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and Emmett Township Public Safety say 7 people have been arrested in an effort to crackdown on methamphetamine manufacturing in the area.

Police say of those 7 suspects, 16 misdemeanor charges are being sought, along with 5 felonies.  Police say felony charges will also be sought against two other individuals.

The suspects haven’t been identified at this point in the investigation, nor the exact locations where they were arrested.

Investigators say several meth labs were discovered during the course of the operation, including finished product and components used in the production of methamphetamine.
