$4,000 reward offered in Sturgis firearm thefts

STURGIS, Mich. — A $4,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for stealing 21 firearms from Outpost Guns, 743 S. Centreville Road.

Store employees discovered that 15 long guns and six handguns were missing from the store Thursday morning, according to a release from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.  The suspect or suspects broke in through a front door window.

The reward is being offered by the ATF and the National Shooting Sports Foundation, according to a release.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Sturgis Police at 269-659-7260 or the ATF at 616-301-6140.
