Former classroom aide pleads guilty to criminal sexual conduct

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — A former classroom aide at Lakeshore Middle School has pleaded guilty after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Dominic Anthony Ciccantelli, 23, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of accosting a minor for immoral purposes, according to the Ottawa County Prosecutor’s Office.

He faces 15 years in prison for the CSC charge and four years behind bars for each of the accosting a minor charges.   He will be sentenced Dec. 14, according to the prosecutor’s office.

According to court documents, Ciccantelli admitted to police that he sent nude photos to juvenile girls on Snapchat and engaged in sexual conduct with an 8th grader.

He was working as a special education classroom assistant at the time of the alleged incidents and was fired April 13 following his arrest.
