GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Two students have confessed after “hateful, racialized and profane” statements were found written in snow on vehicles at Calvin College Monday morning, according to a college spokesperson.

The students will go through internal disciplinary procedures, the spokesperson said.

Calvin College President Michael K. Le Roy issued statements on the college’s Facebook page Monday about the incidents.

“Hateful acts such as these violate the image of God in all people, exhibit the sin and brokenness we experience in human community and have no place at Calvin College,” Le Roy said in a statement.

A photo posted on Facebook early Monday morning shows the words “white power” written in snow next to a drawing of a swastika.
