COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. - Black Friday wasn't just for deals on TVs and video games.

Customers lined up at places like Cap & Cork in Comstock Park and Riverside Liquors on Northland Drive for a special midnight release of Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout.

It is a big deal for craft beer enthusiasts because of the new varieties being offered. This is the first time this beer has been made available in West Michigan.

This specific beer is made in a bourbon barrel. Some versions cost about $11 and others, that are about 35 years old, cost $70.

The beer will be on sale while supplies last.

    A few errors here..

This is not the first time Bourbon County has been in WM. It’s a yearly release. Because Goose Island changed distributors we now were able to buy it on black friday.

Also the “$70” beer is aged for two years, not 35. The barrels they age it in are 35 years old.
