WEST MICHIGAN — Black Friday this year was perfect for staying inside shopping or staying inside cuddling up with a good book or movie. Temperatures were in the upper 50s/near 60 degrees last night/early this morning before falling (like black Friday prices) throughout the day in to the 30s!
While I would expect to maintain mostly cloudy skies overnight, high pressure building in to the region will deliver mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies Saturday and Sunday. That said, there is a cold air mass in place too…look for highs generally in the 30s (perhaps low 40s) despite the sunshine.
Our next rain chance doesn’t arrive until Monday night and Tuesday as another low pressure system slides in to and through the Great Lakes. We should be well in to the 40s by that time, but colder air behind that system may produce some minor snow accumulations Tuesday night in to Wednesday.
