Man charged with attempted Grand Rapids home invasion

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.  — The man who police say was caught on a surveillance camera after peeking into windows at a Grand Rapids residence has been charged.

Xavier Jajuan Davis, 29, was charged Monday with first-degree attempted home invasion, according to Grand Rapids Police.

Police say Davis was looking into windows of an address in the 1100 block of East Fulton Street between Sept. 11 and Oct 4.

Davis is scheduled to be back in court Dec. 17.   His bond was set at $50,000, according to a release.

    This guy was convicted back in 2012 for peeping into windows near GVSU. I believe is also the owner of an unlicensed security company called Express Security in Grand Rapids.
