KALAMAZOO, Mich. - A man who led police on a chase before a shootout that killed his brother will stand trial for his charges.

Aaron Pelletier will be tried on charges of fleeing police and weapons charges.  He was also wounded in the shootout that happened in May.  His brother, Sean, was killed when he pointed an AK-type assault rifle at officers.  Police had been attempting to arrest one of the brothers on a warrant related to an on-going and 'volatile' eviction situation involving the man's mother.

Amy and Michelle Pelletier, Aaron and Sean's sisters, are also going through their own court proceedings for holding police at a separate standoff in Portage, also in May.
