Ford Airport sets passenger records

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – 2015 has been a record-setting year for the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.

The airport set its passenger record at the end of November by having served 2,347,424 passengers.  The 2014 mark for the whole year was 2,335,105.  Total passenger numbers are up 9.57% from last year, according to the airport spokesperson.

November was also a record-breaking month for the airport.  For the first time, the airport served over 200,000 passengers in November.  July 2015 was the best month in airport history with 234,282 passengers.
