BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Two Ferris State University students have been arrested for a home invasion this past weekend.

Dandre Jones, 24, and Mahogany Young, 21, were arrested after the December 19 thefts from apartments at the Campus Creek Apartments in Big Rapids Township. Both Jones and Young also live at the complex.

Deputies executed a search warrant on Jones and Young’s apartment and found stolen property and marijuana.  They had also allegedly sold some of the property on a local “For Sale” site on Facebook.

Jones was charged with Home Invasion and Possession of Marijuana. He is being held on a $75,000 bond.

Young, who is currently on a Felony Probation, was charged with a Probation Violation, Possession of Marijuana and a Violation of Conditional Bond from a prior arrest. The prosecutor is still determining her involvement with the Home Invasion.  She is being held on a $60,000 bond.
