GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Kent County Prosecutor William Forsyth announced Tuesday morning that after 30 years, he is stepping aside.
Forsyth released a statement saying that "It has been an honor to represent the citizens of Kent County and I will be forever grateful for their support and for the privilege of having served as their prosecuting attorney."
Forsyth has been with Kent County for a total of 42 years, 30 years as the elected chief prosecutor.
