Suspect identified in hammer attack at gas station

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Battle Creek Police have identified a suspect in hammer attack at a gas station last month.

The attendant at the Citgo Gas Station in the 400 block of Capital NE was struck in the head with a claw hammer during a robbery on December 28th at about 3:30am.  Surveillance video captured the attack.  You can watch that video below.

Police have identified the suspect as Navjot Singh, 21.  Detectives tell us that the last name of the gas station owner is also Singh and they are investigating if the suspect is a distant relative.

The victim was able to get away and got assistance from a passing cab.

    If the anti-gun anti-everything left would take the time to research they’d learn that more people are murdered with hammers than rifles ( including those scary made up “assault rifles)
    The FACTS can be found on the FBI’s website.
    The village elders of Constantine Mich may want to consider a ban on hammers ( if they truly “care” )
    But then, i’m sure “facts” would only confuse them as they have no relevance to the agenda.
