KALAMAZOO, Mich. - A 17-year-old senior at Loy Norrix High School was shot and killed Wednesday in Kalamazoo.
Temetrion Hegler was found dead in a home in the 1400 block of Lane Boulevard, according to Kalamazoo Police.
Investigators believe Hegler's step-grandfather shot him. Family members have identified the suspect as Bruce Embry, 53. Both of them are also believed to have lived at the residence.
Embry was arrested at the home and is behind bars pending formal charges.
