SAGINAW, Mich. — Police in Saginaw are asking for the public’s help in finding a two-year-old girl, who is now the subject of an active Amber Alert, and her 15-year-old cousin.
Victim: Mileah Hill, 2
Police say Makayla Williams, 15, kidnapped her younger cousin, Mileah Hill, 2, sometime overnight. Makayla is described as 4’6″ tall and 85 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Mileah is just 2′ tall and weighs about 30 lbs.

The two left some time late Monday or early Tuesday from the 1500 block of Walnut in the city of Saginaw. It is unknown if they are in a vehicle or on foot.
Makayla’s parents, Mario Williams and Amber Gustafson, told FOX 17 Makayla ran away from their Grand Rapids’ home since Christmas Day. Williams said she had been staying with his cousins in Saginaw for the past two or three weeks.
Makayla is a freshman at Union High School in Grand Rapids, but Williams and Gustafson said she had been cutting school on and off heavily since last November.

Tuesday morning Makayla’s parents showed FOX 17 a string of Facebook messages she had sent them, along with several pictures. Williams and Gustafson said Makayla is currently using the Facebook account “Cardi Williams,” but said she has multiple alias accounts on social media, including on Snapchat and Facebook.
Williams said when he had disciplined Makayla in the past by taking away her phone privileges, it caused her to run away. He believes this happened again at his cousin’s house in Saginaw earlier this week.
This is a joint investigation between Saginaw Police Detectives, FBI, and the Michigan State Police.
