West Michigan – A quick moving system will bring more snow to the area later tonight and Wednesday. The system has limited moisture, but southwest winds off Lake Michigan will lead to some enhanced snowfall with locally heavier amounts.

A Winter Weather Advisory for Muskegon, Ottawa and Allegan counties will go into effect 1 AM tonight and continue to 1 PM Wednesday.

Most of West Michigan will see 1-2 inches of snow by Wednesday afternoon. Some areas north and northeast of Grand Rapids will probably see less than an inch. With the enhanced snowfall from Lake Michigan, parts of the advisory area could pick-up 2-4 inches of snow, with a few isolated higher amounts.
