Tip leads to fugitive arrest one day after being featured on West Michigan’s Most Wanted

BATTLE CREEK, Mich – Detectives with the Battle Creek Police Department say they’ve arrested their fugitive of the month for January just one day after he was featured on West Michigan’s Most Wanted.

Michael Lee Elliott II, 25, was taken into a custody at a home along Maxwell Avenue in Emmett Township after investigators say they received a tip on his location.

Detectives with the Battle Creek Police Department were working with the Michigan State Police Fifth District Fugitive Team to locate Elliott, who was wanted for violating his parole.
