Police: 3 men arrested following several reported robberies in Battle Creek and Emmett Twp

EMMETT TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police arrested three people on Wednesday after several reported robberies, including a purse snatching at a Meijer store.

Emmett Township Police made the arrests around 6:30 p.m. after spotting a vehicle matching the supect’s desription leaving Meijer. Authorities later stopped the vehicle on 6 1/2 mile road at B Drive South.

The Battle Creek Police Department said the supects are believed to be connected to an alleged robbery at Lakeview Square Mall and another at Knoll Apartments.

Police said they found stolen property inside the vehicle. They also said more items were found inside a black four door Nissan, but they don’t know if this group is involved in anymore thefts in the area.

All three men were taken to the Calhoun County Jail on multiple robbery and attempted robbery charges from Emmett Township and Battle Creek.

Police said the victim involved in the alleged robbery in Battle Creek was injured and taken to the hospital in stable condition.
