ATHENS, Mich. – Police are looking for the person responsible for holding up a Calhoun County gas station Tuesday morning.
The robbery happened at the Shell station in Athens, Michigan at about 3:00am. The clerk told officers with the Potawatomi Tribal Police Department that the robber flashed a handgun and demanded cash. He escaped on foot, but police say they believe there was a getaway vehicle somewhere nearby.
The suspect wore a black mask and dark clothing. He is described as being about 5’8″ tall and weighing between 160-170 pounds. No other description was given.
