BATTLE CREEK, Mich – A reward of up to $1,000 dollars is being offered for information that helps lead to an attempted murder suspect with a violent criminal history out of Battle Creek.

Police have identified Bruce Mireles, 27, as a suspect tied to a home invasion in the 5600 block of Dahila Drive over the weekend.  He’s accused of breaking into a home and assaulting a man inside with a knife.  The victim was hospitalized after the attack, last listed in stable condition.

An alleged driver of a white Dodge Charger linked to the crimes was detained earlier this week.  Cocaine, marijuana and several hundred dollars in cash were also confiscated once the vehicle was found.

Police say Mireles was seen in the Charger after the alleged crimes, but hasn’t been located since.

The assault with intent to murder warrant for Mireles is coupled by a felony parole violation warrant.

His online criminal record with the Michigan Department of Corrections includes felony gun and drug convictions, along with felony assault.

Mireles is 5’9″, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.  He has both ears pierced and a tattoo on his lower right neck that says ‘Bruce’.

Anyone with information on the location of Mireles should contact Silent Observer at 269-964-3888.  Silent Observer pays rewards up to $1,000 for information which leads to the arrest of featured fugitives.
