WEST MICHIGAN -- Lake effect snow can fall very selectively, and this latest storm is a perfect example. Grand Rapids and other communities to the east saw virtually no snow from this event. To the south and west of town, the snow piled up to over a foot in some cases with even more on the way. In fact, even Grand Rapids will see some accumulation tomorrow.
