KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Several slide offs were reported in Kent County along US 131 near 14 Mile in northern Kent County Monday evening.

Officials with the Kent County Sheriff’s Office said it’s likely  due to the icy conditions and drivers traveling too fast.

Two minor injuries were reported to police.

Let me guess…the salt trucks aren’t out because we used up all the salt already. No, that can’t be. Umm…they are short staffed because it is a holiday. Yeah! That sound plausible, let’s go with that one!

This county is so dysfunctional. It would be funny if people weren’t dying as a result.

Eight hours later and conditions are actually WORSE! Where is the KCRC???
Why are they busy making lame excuses to the news media instead of out salting the roads?!
