BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. — The Berrien County Bomb Squad was dispatched to deal with a “suspicious device” that was believed to be a pipe bomb, deputies say.

Friday, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department was called to investigate a “suspicious device” that was foundĀ on a piece of equipment owned by Wrights Tree Service. The object was described as a piece of black PVC pipe capped at both ends.
