Amash – Rep – Justin – On Fox News

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — U.S. Representative Justin Amash is now endorsing Ted Cruz, after his first choice for the GOP nomination dropped out of the race.

Amash Tuesday endorsed U.S. Senator Ted Cruz for the Republican presidential nomination.  Amash had early on in the campaign endorsed U.S. Senator Rand Paul, who has since dropped out of the race.

Michigan votes in the primaries on both the Democratic and Republican nominees on March 8.

In a post on the Independent Journal, Amash says that Cruz “is a principled defender of the Constitution, a brilliant strategist and debater who can defeat the Democratic nominee in the general election, and the only remaining candidate I trust to take on what he correctly calls the Washington Cartel.”

I’m so very disappointed in you, Justin. I have always voted for you because you represented yourself as a stand up person who made a difference and challenged the status quo on capitol hill. I am sorry to hear than you support business as usual with your endorsement of such a crooked, dishonest person as Senator Cruz. I’m so sorry to see that you have sold out. I will not continue to support you or the status quo from this point on. I hope your children can forgive you, Congressman Amash. I know I certainly won’t!!!!
I am a constituent in your district and will send you my real name and contact information when I receive your next e-newsletter update. I want to make certain that I am removed from your mailing list, email list, etc. Go to Hell, Sir!!!

I wondered how long it would take before Amash showed his true colors as an establishment politician. I feel sorry for all the locals who have been duped by his “common man” charade. Cruz is nothing more than another same-old same-old 1950’s approach Republican, bent on maintaining the same policies which have been increasingly failing as society advances in spite of them, and in spite of the will of the people being ignored by them. And now Amash has been outed as one of them too.

Sorry boys. This state has been on the short end of the stick for far too long to buy into that old us vs. them Dem vs. Rep lunacy. We are sick of BOTH parties screwing us over, one from the left the other from the right. The DC establishment MUST be overthrown, and the PEOPLE need to reclaim this country as our own. Not theirs. Ours. The us vs. them is not Dem vs. Rep., but them the DC establishment vs, WE THE PEOPLE. Cruz, and now Amash, are both part of “them”.

Well there goes Amash’s chance at re-election.
I hope the deal he cut came with a guaranteed Senate seat and a nice out-of-state mansion, because he is going to have a hard time getting a job flipping burgers around here from now on.
