Hoodie Allen talks new album, tour, Michigan memories before Grand Rapids show

Mitch Fick sits down with hip-hop artist Hoodie Allen to talk about his show Wednesday night at The Intersection in Grand Rapids. Allen (real name Steve Markowitz) is currently on a U.S. tour promoting his new album "Happy Camper," which peaked at #2 on iTunes when it was released in January. The 27-year-old is a native of Long Island, New York and an Ivy League grad (Penn) who worked at Google in California before leaving the work force to pursue his music career.
