KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Ever wonder how university presidents – especially those in Michigan – prepare for a snow day?

A new video posted by Western Michigan University shows how their president reacts to bad, wintry weather. Everything – from shoveling, to scraping cars, to even blow-drying benches – is accounted for.

It begins with WMU presidnet John Dunn getting a call early in the morning about the possibility of a snow day. He responds by saying the student safety is heir chief concern, but rarely will they ever call off classes. With the help of the school’s mascot Buster Bronco, the two work to clean the snow on campus.

While snow days are rarely called for WMU, they did recently close their doors last Thursdaydue to severe weather.
