Denzel Valentine named National Player of the Year by USA Today

EAST LANSING, Mich — Michigan State senior Denzel Valentine has been named college basketball’s National Player of the Year by the USA Today.

Valentine averaged 19 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in 27 games this year.

He was named the Big Ten Player of the Year on Monday.
