Smartphone sales are down six percent, because most people already have one and service providers are dropping the $199 phone deal that has subsidized phone sales since they came out.

Apple plans to release the iPhone 7, with wireless ear buds, and a new mini iPhone that will be about the size of the old iPhone 4.

But, in the Doesn't That Stink file, Americans still can't get cheap smartphones. Customers in India, China, and other developing countries can get smartphones with just the basics for $25.
