ALTO, Mich. – Four people were sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash sent the cars into a home Saturday.

Michigan State Police said it happened at the corner of Alden Nash Ave SE and 92nd St SE. The driver of a Nissan was heading southbound on Alden Nash when they ran a stop sign and hit another vehicle going eastbound on 92nd.

Troopers said that impact sent the cars crashing into the house at the corner of the intersection.

Two people were in each vehicle, according to MSP, and all were wearing seat belts. No one was seriously injured in the crash.

Troopers added that no one was home at the time of the crash. FOX 17 spoke to the homeowner afterward, who said they’ve been pushing for a stop light to be put in after several similar crashes occurred through the years.
