GEORGETOWN TWP., Mich.— A Jenison teen is in serious condition after a crash Saturday morning. It happened around 1:35 near the intersection of Baldwin Street and 20th Avenue.
Deputies in Ottawa County say Joshua Geerts was headed North on 20th Avenue, driving a 1997 Chevy Cavalier, when he failed to stop at a stop sign, hitting Cody Braat’s 2008 Dodge Ram which was carrying a boat. Braat was not hurt.
Geerts, who was not wearing a seat belt was pinned and had to be extricated from his car.
The crash is still under investigation.
