GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Nearly a month after being shot in the head in the shooting rampage that left six people dead, Abigail Kopf is making strides in her recovery.
The latest update from her parents through her GoFundMe page says Abigail walking again without assistance. She’s eating soft foods and is able to speak in a whisper. These improvements come a month after arriving at the hospital in critical condition. Her initial prognosis was bleak.
Tiana Carruthers, the other survivor from that night, is also reported to be improving. At a benefit concert held for her last Friday, she released a video in which she thanked her supporters.
