GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — New video shows the youngest of the Kalamazoo shooting victims walking during a recent physical therapy session.

The video was posted to theAbbie Kopf’s Recovery Facebook page over the weekend.  The teen  can be seen waving to the camera as she walks down the hallway of the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Slappy, the mascot for the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team,  also paid a visit to Kopf over the weekend.

The team said in a Facebook post that Slappy visited Kopf Sunday to deliver a “specially designed protective helmet.”

“Slappy also learned that Abbie has some pretty great air hockey skills, too!” the Facebook post says.

Kopf, 14, was shot in the head during the Feb. 20 shooting spree in Kalamazoo.  She was originally believed to be dead before squeezing her mother’s hand.
