HOLLAND, Mich. — A man who police say led them on a chase Sunday night has been officially charged.

Raul Campos was charged with resisting and obstructing police, operating while intoxicated, and hit and run.

Holland Police say they got calls Sunday night around 11:30 p.m. about a vehicle that hit a fence in the 400 block of West 16th Street and garbage cans on 9th Street. When the vehicle was spotted, the driver refused to stop and continued to drive south on Michigan Avenue. Spike strips were set up at US-31 and Lincoln Avenue. The driver continued down Lincoln Avenue before stopping in the 1000 block of the street.

Campos was released on a $5,000 bond.
