SPARTA, Mich. — Sparta High School hosted their ‘Best Prom Ever’ on Saturday night, a free event for students with disabilities who may not be able to attend their school’s prom.
This year the event broke records. 1,200 guests attended Best Prom Ever, 300 more people than last year. The event also included 300 high school student volunteers and 300 adult volunteers. Organizers also had to turn away 240 people at the door. Best Prom Ever includes a free prime rib dinner, limo rides, a photo booth, music, dancing and party favors.
Best Prom Ever also hosts an event in the Fall, the date has been set for October 15. Registration will open for that soon and organizers encourage people to sign up as soon as possible to make sure they get a spot. For more information visit their website.
