GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The man suspected in shooting his girlfriend Thursday morning and then leading police on a chase Thursday evening faces a long list of charges.

The Kent County Prosecutor Office has released the list of charges against Theodore Little for the events on Thursday.  Little was arraigned Friday afternoon.

The day started with Little allegedly shooting his girlfriend in upper body, injuring her face and neck.  For that incident, Little is facing charges of Assault with Intent to Murder and Felony Firearms.  Little faces a sentence of life in prison for the assault charge and two years for the gun charge.

Later in the afternoon, Little allegedly went into Specialized Staffing Solutions on 28th Street and forced two employees into the restroom.  He then allegedly too one of their purses and car keys and stole her vehicle.  For this Kentwood event, Little is facing charges of Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Unlawful Imprisonment, Criminal Sexual Conduct, 2nd degree and Felony Firearm.  Two charges carry maximum potential life sentences and two carry 15-year sentences.

Grand Rapids Police were alerted after the car theft and spotted the vehicle downtown.  The suspect then led police on a chase that ended in crash near John Ball Zoo.  Little was arrested at the scene.  For that incident, Little faces charges of Fleeing and Eluding Police, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Felony Firearm.  All these charges are potential five year sentences.

Chris Becker, assistant prosecutor says that Little is also being charged as a 4th time felony offender, which adds another potential 25 years to his sentence if convicted.
