GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -  Special education students from Kentwood received a day of pampering from the Douglas J. Aveda Institute Thursday.

This was the fourth annual Douglas J's. Day of Beauty.  In prior years, they invited middle school special needs students, but opened it up to high school students this year as well.

Some students got their hair cut and other got manicures, pedicures and help with their makeup.  The services were free.
