Grand Rapids resident Hannah Livermore survived the Boston Marathon Bombing attack in 2013, now she shares her experience and how she's moving forward by participating in the Tulip Time Run.

She had just crossed the finish line when the dreadful bombs went off, killing three and injuring hundreds. She was not injured in the act of terror, but witnessed the horrific moments that followed.

She copes with post traumatic stress syndrome, and it causes her to have panic attacks when she runs races or gets close to the finish line.

To encourage Livermore during the race, the Tulip Time Run committee invites runners to join "Finish Strong", a group of participants who want to run alongside her when she completes the race.

The Tulip Time Run takes place on May 7.

Tulip Time 5k starts at 8am.

Tulip Time 10k starts at 9am.

Kid's Fun Run, a 1k run, starts at 9:15am.

If you want to participate in the run, you can register for $35 online or the day of the race.
