Just in time for the warmer weather, Kent District Library is offering bikes for checkout.

Sixteen of the KDL branches have four Breezer Uptown EX 8-speed bicycles. Each bike comes with a basket, a bike lock and key.

Anyone 18 or older with a KDP library card can check one out.  You have to sign a borrower's agreement and waiver before you ride off with a bike.

The library does not provide helmets, and strongly encourage that you bring one with you before riding.

Bikes check out for one day and must be returned before the library's closing time.

If you have any questions, call (616) 784-2007.
