GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 31-year-old West Olive woman was seriously injured Thursday during a three-vehicle crash.

The crash happened at about 2:50 p.m. at Lakeshore Drive and Lincoln Street, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

A 17-year-old boy from West Olive was driving south on Lakeshore and didn’t see that another vehicle was stopped to turn left on Lincoln.   He rear-ended that vehicle before crashing into a third vehicle head-on, officials said.

The woman who was seriously injured was a passenger in the third vehicle.  The driver of that vehicle, a 46-year-old West Olive man, sustained minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported.  The 17-year-old was cited for failing to stop, according to the sheriff’s department.
