Fast Fix- Cleaning Paint Brushes

and last updated

Getting ready to get some painting done for the summer, but your brushes are stiff from last year's paint job?

To get all the build-up off just follow these simple steps.

First grab a cup to two cups of white vinegar and pour it into a saucepan. You can also do this step in the microwave.

Heat the vinegar until it's boiling and then pour into an old jar or container.

Place the brushes in carefully and let them sit for for about 20 minutes.

Once they're done, wash them in warm soapy water, scratch off any old paint that may remain and trim any stray bristles.

Put them on a towel and let them dry and now they'll be ready for your next big painting job.
