One suspect shown on surveillance tape caught; other on the loose

OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — One of the two suspects connected to a home invasion in Tallmadge Township last Sunday was arrested.

Captain Mark Bennett with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department told FOX 17 News that Erick Doke, 33, was positively identified as one of the suspects thought to be involved with the home invasion. He was arrested in Grand Rapids Thursday evening.

Deputies believe the second suspect is Matthieu Bodary. He is thought to visit the Grand Rapids and Big Rapids areas frequently. There are several warrants out for his arrest on unrelated charges.

The pair of suspects allegedly broke into a home in the 13000 block of 44th Avenue Sunday afternoon and stole several items.
