Simon, who has a hematologic condition that requires regular blood transfusions, wished to visit the former orphanage where he lived in China and deliver noodles to his friends.

Before Simon left for his wish to visit his friends at his former orphanage in China, he started to worry. The 7-year-old wondered if the orphanage would want to take him back.

His fears about returning to the orphanage were soon replaced with the cheers and laughter of the children as Simon shared a package of noodles with each child. The children at the orphanage were so excited to see Simon and accept the noodles he brought that they started to eat them right out of the package.
