West Michigan – Our Memorial Day weekend forecast looks warm and mainly dry.

4 DAY MEMORIAL DAY FORECAST

Michigan will stay in a warmer than average pattern for the weekend with small chances of showers and thunderstorms. By Monday, our rain chances will diminish to less than 20 percent.

High temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s with overnight lows in the 60s. With a southwest flow, temperatures right at Lake Michigan will be several degrees cooler.

The best chances of rain will occur during the afternoon and evening as instability increases. Rain chances look very small during the early parts of the day.

At this point I wouldn’t change any weekend plans for being outdoors. This type of pattern is hard to forecast for specific timing of any rain or thunderstorms. If it does rain, it should move through fairly quickly with at least some sunshine returning.
