GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A neighborhood is raising funds for a Grand Rapids Police Park Memorial.

The West Grand Neighborhood Organization is looking to raise $65,000 for the memorial to be built at Richmond Park.  $30,000 would be used for the memorial, but if they reach the $65,000 mark, they’ll establish a scholarship fund in honor of Officer Robert “Bobby” Kozminski.

Kozminski was killed in the line of duty on July 7th, 2007.

The neighborhood organization is partnering with Brann’s Steakhouse & Grille in the efforts.  To donate, click here.
