West Michigan – Our weather pattern will change as we head into the weekend with more clouds and rain chances increasing.

The upper air pattern shows a “dip” in the jet stream over the Great Lakes starting on Saturday and continuing into early next week. This will bring cooler air into the state along with more clouds and occasional showers.

The chance of showers will increase on Saturday afternoon with isolated thunderstorms possible. Our chance of severe weather is very low. Highs on Saturday will climb into the 70s.

Sunday will be a cooler day with plenty of clouds. Occasional showers are possible especially in the morning. Highs will be in the mid-upper 60s. The cool air will stick around for Monday with a warming trend by the middle of the week.
