ROCKFORD, Mich. -- The West Michigan Miracle League has a new power bat in their lineup.

Thanks to the "Batter Up Project" -- the brainchild of a group of engineers from Ohio -- the WMML now has a new machine that allows players in wheelchairs to swing a bat while hitting, something some of them weren't able to do before.

The project stems from the work of May We Help -- an organization that invents and creates machines and tools for the disabled.
