It's that time of year when the kids are out of school, which means many people will be spending lots of time in the water, on a boat, and at the beach.

While there are many fun memories to be made this summer, it's important to make sure you and the kids stay safe.

There's a free, unique, fun, hands-on summer camp called Camp 911 to make sure that happens.

Life EMS Ambulance is offering the camp for kids ages 9-11, teaching kids the basic safety skills for going on the water.

Camps start Monday, June 13 at various locations in West Michigan.
