Good morning!  It was a great start to the week, weather wise.  Yesterday was relatively cool, with rain showers off and on throughout the day and highs barely into the 70s in many locations.

Midwest_Temps Plus Wind Particles

Much cooler air to the north has been limited in its arrival to West Michigan today due to our warm and humid southwest breeze.  This will change overnight as we’ll switch our air mass to a much cooler one for the next few days.

As the winds switch to the north, daytime highs will struggle to get out of the 60s this time, with overnight lows in the 40s.

PENDULUM

A couple of days in the morning this week, we’ll see temperatures in the mid 40s to begin the day, but it’s not until the end of the week that we return to what we’ve come to expect from the last few weeks of spring.

Those cool winds leave as high pressure builds out to our west.  We’ll return to that southwesterly breeze, and that will really warm things up as we head into the weekend.

PENDULUM 2

As a result, we’re looking at one of our warmest temperatures of the season heading into the weekend.

7 day

Generally there isn’t a way to please everybody…about anything…most of the time.  However, this looks to be as close to a forecast that could do so over the next few days.  we’re expecting thunderstorms, rain, and cooler conditions before a great beach weekend ahead!  Hope this satisfies you and you’re able to take advantage.  Have a great Monday and we’ll see you tomorrow!
