Police look for armed robbery suspect in Grandville

Admiral Gas Station on Chicago Drive

GRANDVILLE, Mich. – Police are looking for the man responsible for robbing an Admiral Gas Station overnight.

Police say the robbery happened just after midnight at the Admiral station in the 4300 block of Chicago Drive SW.  The employee told Grandville Police that the suspect was a thin, white man, wearing a brown fishing-type hat, black jacket and blue jeans.  He was wearing white gloves, black sunglasses and a construction-type mask.

According to the employee, the suspect had a black handgun in his waistband and demanded cash. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the scene.  Police used a K9 to try and track the suspect, but was unsuccessful.
