Toddler seriously injured in Wyoming crash

WYOMING, Mich. -- A toddler was seriously injured Friday when they were ejected during a crash.

The two-vehicle crash was reported at about 2 p.m. at Division Avenue near 54th Street, according to Wyoming Police.

Police say the toddler's mother was turning out of the Big Lots parking lot, 5450 S. Division Ave., when her vehicle was struck by a southbound landscaping truck.

The child's injuries are serious but non-life threatening, officials said.   Their mother was also hospitalized but the extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.
