SAUGATUCK, Mich. -- Boaters along the lakeshore rescued a deer on Wednesday night and it was caught on video.

The video is from Todd Herring, who is the Communications Director for ArtPrize.

Herring said he was out in the channel when he noticed the deer struggling to get out of the water. He and another boater helped steer the deer towards a wall where it could climb onto some rocks.

The deer soon took off back into the wild after getting out of the water.
